Your computer is important to your business. It is important that it is working properly or it will loose its value to you, your family and your business. However, things happen and there will come a time where your computer will refuse to work as it should be.
In this case, you will need to answer this question, should you or should you not try to play with it. Please note the word "play with it", I did not say fix it. However, if you are a computer technician, then fix it because you surely know how to.
If you are not a computer technician and you have not experienced opening up the computer case, you may think twice before you do try to open one.
There may be computer issues that you can try to fix, before you do however, check the warranty.
Is the warranty still valid?
If the warranty is still valid, you may need to send back the computer to the manufacturer. Do not try to repair it on your own because doing so will void the warranty. If your computer manufacturer offers after sales service through online chat, email support or phone support. Try to contact them; they may try to help you by asking details of what happened and giving you instructions on how to move forward.

If the problem is simple like power problems you can do the following:
If the computer is not powering up
Check if the power cable is attached properly to the wall socket. You may also try to plug it in another socket to test if the problem is the wall socket and not the computer.
You may also try to move the cable left to right. The problem might lie on the power cable connection or wiring inside the power cable. Try to unplug the computer and then plug it in before pressing the power on again.
The monitor is not powering up but the computer is turned on. The connection between the CPU and the monitor might be having problems. Try to connect and disconnect then try it again.
If the computer is having more problem than mere power issues, you may try to get a computer technician. You may try to work with it by checking the manual and using safety tools but if the problem will lead to another, this may not be good.
Trying to fix your computer may be comparable to self-medication, do not do it because it may be dangerous.
