Do you waste a lot of time? In this fast paced information age we are expected to read, retain and understand huge amounts of information in a small amount of time. Read on to learn how to make the most of your time and get all that reading done as well.
1:When traveling on a plane, through airports or on a bus, you have a great deal of free time. It can also be a lot of wasted time if you have nothing to read. If you actually counted up the wasted time you have while traveling you would be aghast.
First you are asked to be at the airport 2 hours ahead of the time your plane leaves. By the time you have checked in and gone for a bathroom break, there is still a lot of time to fill in. Airports are hopeful that you will start spending at the shops while you wait.
But if you have your books, magazines and newspapers with you, then you can enjoy your time waiting and do something constructive at the same time.
2: While taking kids to school, to sports, to the doctors, to the dentists and to ballet practise, you need your books. There is so much waiting time involved with these activities.
Mothers are so busy all the time that if you can make the most of these tiny chunks of time, you will feel so much better. Read something that inspires, motivates and refreshes you so that at the end of the day, you will know that today you have done something for yourself.
3: When you are out with your toddlers its a great idea to take books with you. This way, you can read to them when they get bored or upset. Kids dont have the concentration spans that we do and so they easily get fed up with shopping. Being able to take a break when they start to get restless can make a huge difference to the shopping experience.
If there is a coffee shop or somewhere to take a break, give the kids a treat and read to them for a while. After the rest you will find their moods will bounce back and you can continue to have a lovely shopping day.
4: Take your books with you to the park to read outside on a lovely sunny day. There is nothing nicer.
5: When you are having coffee at your favorite coffee shop. What better way to spend some time on your own. Take some time out of your busy day to have a coffee and read your book, magazine or newspaper.
6: When you go on vacation, dont forget to take the books and magazines. This is time to have a rest, to snuggle in bed with the reading material, or to lounge around a pool and read you favorite author.
7: If you need to spend time in hospital, you just must take books and magazines with you. When you are forced to rest, at least you can keep your brain active.
Ok so now you know how to make the most of your time, but how will you carry all those books and magazines and newspapers with you everywhere you go? What about trying out an e book reader? That way, all your books, magazines, newspapers and blogs can be stored in one tiny lightweight gadget.
